The UCF Materials Science and Engineering Department was ranked 65 in the field by US News and World Report in its Best Graduate Schools 2017 guidebook. The MSE department joined 20 UCF departments in total that ranked in the top 100. The US News and World Report survey reviewed more than 800 public and private institutions with graduate schools.
